Bridging Culture and Community to our Jacksonville Libraries

The Venezuela Marka Foundation has been a proud supporter of events at the Duval County Public Library, bringing the vibrant and rich traditions of Venezuelan dance to the heart of Jacksonville. Our dedicated dancers have graced library events with captivating performances, offering the community a glimpse into the beauty of Venezuelan heritage.

Each performance by our talented troupe is met with enthusiastic applause and appreciation. The graceful movements and colorful costumes of our dancers create an immersive experience, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees. Through these cultural showcases, we aim to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation of Venezuelan culture within the Jacksonville community.

As part of the Duval County Public Library events, on June 22nd, we celebrated the establishment of Comando ConVzla Jacksonville at the University Park Branch Library. This initiative is a beacon of unity and support for the Venezuelan community in Jacksonville, fostering political and social change for our homeland.

The event featured a performance by the Venezuelan violinist Sofia Wuertter, part of Sistema de Jacksonville. Her soulful music added a profound layer to the celebration, captivating the audience and enriching the cultural experience.

The event drew prominent figures and community members, all united in their commitment to solidarity and action. The creation of Comando ConVzla Jacksonville is a significant step in strengthening our community's voice and presence.

Speakers at the event emphasized the power of community involvement and collective action. The Venezuela Marka Foundation proudly supports initiatives like these, which resonate with our mission to promote cultural awareness and social responsibility.

The Venezuela Marka Foundation is dedicated to enriching the Jacksonville community through cultural engagement and active participation in meaningful events. Our involvement in library events and the establishment of Comando ConVzla Jacksonville are just two examples of our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating and preserving our cultural heritage while working towards a brighter future for Venezuela. Together, we can create a stronger, more connected community.

Stay tuned for more updates and events from the Venezuela Marka Foundation. Let's continue to bridge cultures and build a vibrant community together.
